A Flying Lions Aerobatic Team Canadian Car & Foundry T-6H Harvard IV, registered ZU-BVK and carrying MSN CCF4-520, was substantially damaged in a ground-loop accident during landing at Rand Airport (FAGM/QRA), Germiston, Gauteng, SOUTH AFRICA, on Saturday, 29 August 2026. The aircraft was conducting a ferry/positioning flight from Rhino Park Airfield to Rand Airport when it ground-looped during the landing phase. The aircraft was occupied by one person, who was not injured, and there were no reported fatalities or injuries to others.
