
Royal Air Maroc has taken delivery of a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner (MSN 41542, line number 304), registered CN-RHU, on 10 April 2026, marking the addition of a 10.9-year-old widebody aircraft to its long-haul fleet. Originally delivered new to Xiamen Airlines in June 2015, the aircraft was operated under lease from CCB Financial Leasing and powered by twin GEnx-1B engines. During its time in China, it experienced periods of storage, including in Fuzhou and Haikou, before being withdrawn from use in November 2025 and remaining parked until early April 2026. Following its transfer, the aircraft has now been placed with Royal Air Maroc under the same leasing structure, where it is expected to support the airline’s expanding intercontinental operations.
