
An Air Burkina Embraer ERJ-190LR, reportedly registered XT-ABI (MSN 19000625), was involved in a ground accident at Ouagadougou Airport on the morning of 21 February 2026. The incident occurred at approximately 08:00 local time during pushback for flight 2J566 to Bamako-Modibo Keita International Airport, when the aircraft struck a ground crew member, resulting in one fatality. No injuries were reported among passengers or crew, and aircraft damage remains unconfirmed. Following a delay of about three hours, the General Electric CF34-10E-powered regional jet departed safely for Bamako.
