
A leased Airbus A320-233 (registration LZ-FSJ, MSN 3570) operated by Fly2Sky on behalf of United Nigeria Airlines experienced a bird strike while operating scheduled flight UN509 from Asaba International Airport to Murtala Muhammed International Airport on 29 March 2026. The 2008-built aircraft, powered by IAE V2527E-A5 engines, sustained damage of unknown extent and was subsequently withdrawn from service as a precaution. No injuries or fatalities were reported.
