    A privately operated Jabiru J430, registered ZU-JBC and bearing Manufacturer Serial Number (MSN) 1018, made a precautionary emergency landing at Long Beach, north of Richards Bay Airport in KwaZulu-Natal, SOUTH AFRICA, on 17 May 2026 after the pilot suspected fuel contamination while en route to Richards Bay Airport. The aircraft was carrying three occupants, all of whom escaped uninjured, and the aircraft sustained no damage during the incident. Following the successful beach landing, the aircraft remained overnight before safely departing the following day during low tide and continuing to Richards Bay Airport. The occurrence was categorized as a private operation, with information primarily emerging from unofficial and media sources.
