
A Jambojet Bombardier DHC-8-402Q Dash 8, registered 5Y-JXM, was forced to return safely to Kisumu Airport on 24 July 2026 after suffering a bird strike shortly after takeoff while operating scheduled passenger Flight JM8657 to Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
