
NIGERIA’s Air Peace took delivery of a Boeing 737-8BK(WL), registered 5N-CGD, on 23 May 2026 as part of its ongoing fleet expansion strategy. The aircraft, bearing Manufacturer Serial Number (MSN) 33027 and Line Number 1918, was built at Boeing’s Renton production facility and completed its maiden flight on 3 April 2006, making it just over 20 years old at the time of delivery. Configured in a high-density all-economy layout with 189 seats, the aircraft is powered by two CFMI CFM56-7B24 engines. Before joining Air Peace, the aircraft operated with several international carriers, beginning with Brazil’s GOL under registration PR-GIE in 2006 through lease agreements with CIT and later Air Lease Corporation (ALC).
