Libya and Turkey have discussed enhancing air connectivity, including increasing flights to Libyan airports and establishing direct Turkish Airlines services to Sabha International Airport, aiming to support regional transport and connectivity. The talks, held between Libya’s Transport Minister Mohamed Al-Shahoubi and Turkish Ambassador Güven Begiç, also reviewed the Libyan-Turkish Joint Committee’s agreements and explored ways for Turkish companies to resume participation in Libya’s reconstruction and development projects. Both sides stressed ongoing coordination to advance mutual interests and promote development and stability in Libya.
