
NIGERIA and CAMEROON have signed a Bilateral Agreement on Technical Aeronautical Search and Rescue Operations to enhance aviation safety across their shared airspace. The agreement, formalized in Yaoundé following high-level talks between NIGERIA’S Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, and CAMEROON’S Transport Minister, Jean Ernest NgalNgallé Bibehe, establishes a framework for coordinated and rapid responses to aviation emergencies near their borders.
