    Côte d’Ivoire has approved new bilateral air service agreements with Angola, Brazil, and Oman, marking a strategic move to expand its international air connectivity. The agreements are expected to liberalise air traffic rights and facilitate new or enhanced passenger and cargo services between the countries, strengthening Abidjan’s global network reach. Anchored by Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport, the development supports Côte d’Ivoire’s broader ambition to position Abidjan as a competitive regional aviation hub in West Africa with stronger links to Africa, South America, and the Middle East.

    Gabon and Algeria have signed a new air services agreement aimed at strengthening aviation cooperation and improving connectivity between North and Central Africa. The agreement expands traffic rights, increases flexibility in flight frequencies, and simplifies administrative procedures to support faster development of new air routes.
