
Proflight Zambia commenced its inaugural service between ZAMBIA and NAMIBIA, landing at Hosea Kutako International Airport at 12:00 on Tuesday, with tourism and aviation stakeholders witnessing the event. The airline will operate three weekly flights to Windhoek on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, departing Lusaka at 08:30 and Livingstone at 09:55, arriving in Windhoek at 11:35, with return flights from Windhoek at 12:20. The launch, attended by dignitaries including Chief Mukuni of the Leya people and Deputy Minister Jenelly Matundu, aims to strengthen regional connectivity and support tourism and trade between the two countries.
On March 30, 2026, ValueJet will launch direct flights between Lagos and Accra, strengthening connectivity between NIGERIA and GHANA, two major business and tourism hubs in West AFRICA.
