    Fly Gabon has expanded its West African network with the launch of a new scheduled service between Libreville and Lagos, marking a significant step in strengthening Central–West Africa air connectivity. The inaugural flight operated on 17 April 2026, building on the airline’s earlier entry into Nigeria via Port Harcourt in 2025 as part of a phased strategy targeting high-demand business and energy sector traffic. The new Lagos route is operated with four weekly frequencies, consisting of two direct flights on Wednesdays and Sundays (approximately 1h 30m) and two additional services on Mondays and Fridays via Cotonou (about 2h 35m), reflecting a hybrid direct-and-stopping pattern designed to optimise regional demand and connectivity.

    A new phase in Libya–Spain air connectivity has begun with the launch of the first direct flight from Tripoli’s Mitiga Airport to Madrid after more than a decade of suspension.
