Neos has launched direct flights between Milan, ITALY, and Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA), TANZANIA, with the inaugural service operating as flight NO292 (FLNO292) using a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (registration EI-XIN). The aircraft arrived at KIA on 15 July 2026 at 6:44 AM local time, carrying more than 210 tourists on the first direct connection between the two destinations. The new route coincides with TANZANIA’s peak tourism season and represents a significant milestone in expanding direct European connectivity to the country’s northern safari circuit. The service strengthens KIA’s position as a strategic gateway to world-renowned attractions including the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Mount Kilimanjaro, while simplifying travel for European visitors and creating new opportunities for tourism operators, hospitality businesses and local communities.
