    Neos has launched direct flights between Milan, ITALY, and Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA), TANZANIA, with the inaugural service operating as flight NO292 (FLNO292) using a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (registration EI-XIN). The aircraft arrived at KIA on 15 July 2026 at 6:44 AM local time, carrying more than 210 tourists on the first direct connection between the two destinations. The new route coincides with TANZANIA’s peak tourism season and represents a significant milestone in expanding direct European connectivity to the country’s northern safari circuit. The service strengthens KIA’s position as a strategic gateway to world-renowned attractions including the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Mount Kilimanjaro, while simplifying travel for European visitors and creating new opportunities for tourism operators, hospitality businesses and local communities. Neos, which has operated services to Zanzibar since 2022, is deepening its Tanzanian footprint by responding to rising demand among Italian travellers for combined safari and beach holiday experiences.
