    Algerian regional carrier Domestic Airlines has taken delivery of a brand-new ATR 72-600 (72-212A) turboprop, registered 7T-VUA, marking a further enhancement of its regional fleet and domestic network capabilities. The aircraft, bearing manufacturer serial number (MSN) 1757, completed its first flight on 23 June 2026 and was officially delivered on 9 July 2026, making it one of ATR's newest aircraft deliveries. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127XT turboprop engines and configured to accommodate 72 passengers (Y72), the aircraft is designed to deliver improved fuel efficiency, lower operating costs, and enhanced environmental performance on short- to medium-haul routes. Following delivery, the aircraft was ferried from ATR's final assembly facility in Toulouse, FRANCE (TLS), to Algiers (ALG) on 9 July 2026 to enter service with the airline. The addition of 7T-VUA is expected to strengthen Domestic Airlines' operational capacity, improve connectivity across ALGERIA'S domestic and regional markets, and support the carrier's fleet modernisation strategy through the deployment of ATR's latest-generation regional turboprop technology.
