
ValueJet has expanded its West African and domestic network with the launch of new routes aimed at improving regional connectivity and passenger convenience. Starting May 18, 2026, the airline will operate daily domestic flights between Owerri and Abuja, strengthening links between Nigeria’s South-East and the capital city to support business, government, education, and leisure travel. In addition, ValueJet introduced a regional service between Accra (Ghana) and Banjul (The Gambia), effective May 14, 2026, operating three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays to enhance mobility, tourism, and trade across West Africa. The airline’s management said the expansion reflects its broader strategy to build a more connected African air transport network while maintaining a focus on safety, reliability, and improved passenger service.
