
Mauritania Airlines International is preparing to sell its entire Embraer fleet, comprising two Embraer E175 regional jets, registered 5T-CLO and 5T-CLL, and one Embraer ERJ-145LR, registered 5T-CLD, following several months out of service. The state-owned carrier, together with MAURITANIA’s Ministry of Equipment and Transport, has launched an international call for expressions of interest to appoint an independent aviation valuation firm to assess the aircraft and establish minimum sale prices. The selected consultant will inspect the aircraft, review their technical, maintenance and airworthiness records, evaluate their market value and estimate potential quick-sale prices and the costs of preparing them for disposal. The assignment, expected to take approximately eight weeks, will also examine potential sale strategies and the value of major components. The two E175s are approximately 7.5 years old, while the ERJ-145LR is around 22 years old. Interested firms must meet specified professional accreditation and experience requirements, with submissions due by 2 November 2026.
