Air Peace has taken delivery of Boeing 737-8LC(WL), registration 5N-CGQ, manufacturer serial number 64179 and line number 7202, further expanding the Nigerian carrier’s fleet. The aircraft was manufactured at Boeing’s Renton facility in the UNITED STATES and first flew on 2 October 2018, making it approximately eight years old at the time of delivery. Powered by two CFM International CFM56-7BE engines, the aircraft was originally delivered to Jeju Air as HL8318 on 16 October 2018, configured with 12 Business Class and 162 Economy Class seats. It operated with Jeju Air for nearly eight years before being withdrawn from service and stored at Gimpo International Airport (GMP) between 9 August and 26 September 2026. Following its transfer to Air Peace, the aircraft was registered 5N-CGQ and recorded as delivered to the Nigerian carrier on 26 September 2026. The addition represents another Boeing 737-800 for Air Peace, supporting the airline’s ongoing fleet expansion and capacity requirements across its domestic, regional and international network.
