Cameroon Airports (ADC) has shortlisted six companies and consortiums for the renovation of the passenger terminal at Douala International Airport, advancing the building component of the RAP-AID project to the next procurement stage. The shortlist, contained in an ADC statement signed on 15 September 2026, comprises Jet Contractors SA and China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. (CHEC) as individual bidders, alongside four consortiums: Yahweh Jireh Construction/SAMCO/VACC Technical Ltd., PAC International Cameroun/MABCO Constructions SA, Groupe SOMAF/Metag Insaat Ticaret AS, and PJ-IC INC Group/PROMEC SA/Batilux Africa SA. The six candidates emerged from an international call for expressions of interest issued on 22 May 2026 and are now qualified to participate in a restricted international tender, where their technical and financial proposals will be assessed before the contractor is selected. The prequalification does not constitute a contract award, and ADC has not yet disclosed the value of the building works, the date of the restricted tender or the implementation timetable.
