
Thales has secured a five-year agreement with Royal Air Maroc to digitalise the MOROCCAN flag carrier’s flight operations through AvioBook Flight, an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) solution developed by AvioBook, a Thales Group company. Announced on 8 October 2026, the agreement will see pilots across Royal Air Maroc’s fleet equipped with the digital platform, which is designed to streamline flight preparation and execution, improve coordination between cockpit crews and ground staff, support fuel optimisation and enhance operational efficiency. The integrated solution provides digital tools for different phases of flight operations, including pre-flight planning, in-flight procedures and post-flight activities, while supporting regulatory compliance, safety risk mitigation, system resilience and shorter aircraft turnaround times. According to Thales, AvioBook’s technology has previously been implemented by approximately 70 airlines worldwide, drawing on more than a decade of experience in developing digital aviation solutions.
