Ethiopian Cargo & Logistics Services, the cargo division of Ethiopian Airlines, has been named Specialist Cargo Carrier of the Year at the 13th Payload Asia Awards 2026, adding to its growing list of industry recognitions and reinforcing its position in the global air freight market. The award recognises the carrier’s role in specialist air cargo transportation, supported by its extensive international network, dedicated freighter operations and passenger-aircraft belly capacity. Operating from its hub at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport in ETHIOPIA, the airline serves more than 145 destinations worldwide and handles a broad range of shipments, including general cargo, pharmaceuticals, perishables, valuable goods, live animals, e-commerce and mail. Its cargo operations are supported by specialised handling capabilities and major cargo infrastructure in Addis Ababa. The recognition follows other industry awards for the carrier, including honours at Air Cargo Africa, the Arabian Cargo Awards and the Asia Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain Awards in 2025 and 2026.
