Etihad Airways and NIGERIA's Air Peace have signed a new interline agreement to significantly expand passenger connectivity between the UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, NIGERIA, and West and Central Africa, marking an important milestone in Etihad's long-term African growth strategy. Under the partnership, Etihad passengers will be able to travel on a single ticket from Abu Dhabi via Lagos and Accra to 20 destinations served by Air Peace across NIGERIA and the wider region. The agreement provides seamless access to major NIGERIAN cities including Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano, Enugu, Benin City, Owerri, Warri, and Asaba, as well as regional destinations such as Abidjan, Dakar, Banjul, Freetown, Monrovia, Conakry, Bamako, Douala, and Libreville. The partnership supports Etihad's planned daily Abu Dhabi–Lagos service, announced as part of its African network expansion, and is expected to strengthen business, tourism, and trade links following the UAE–NIGERIA Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) signed in January 2026.
