    Air Algérie has taken delivery of its newest Airbus A330-900neo, registered 7T-VLB, on 1 June 2026, further strengthening its long-haul fleet modernization programme. The aircraft, bearing manufacturer serial number (MSN 1861), first flew on 21 July 2021 and is powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent 7000-72 engines. Configured with 286 seats (30 Business Class, 21 Premium Economy, and 235 Economy Class), the aircraft was previously operated by Air Belgium and briefly leased to LOT Polish Airlines before being stored at Lourdes (LDE) from March 2024 until its transfer to Air Algérie. Named “The Fennec” (الفنك) and painted in special “One Two Three Viva l’Algérie” livery, the aircraft was ferried from Lourdes to Algiers on delivery and entered commercial service on 3 June 2026. The addition of the nearly five-year-old A330-900neo supports Air Algérie’s efforts to enhance passenger comfort, operational efficiency, and long-haul network growth.
