
On 8 February 2026, a privately operated Tecnam P2004 Bravo (registration V5-UTD, MSN 062) was substantially damaged following an apparent engine failure while en route near Okahao in the Omusati region of NAMIBIA. The aircraft crashed during an attempted emergency landing. Of the two occupants on board, the passenger sustained injuries while the pilot was unharmed. No fatalities were reported.
On 8 February 2026, a privately operated Tecnam P-92 Echo (registration 26-ON) was substantially damaged during a forced landing in ANGOLA after encountering adverse weather conditions, including clouds and rain, while in the landing phase.
