    South Africa’s Global Aviation has taken delivery of an Airbus A320-232, now registered ZS-GAG, marking the aircraft’s latest transition in a 16.6-year operational history. The narrowbody, powered by two IAE V2527-A5 engines, was originally delivered to Tiger Airways in August 2009 before serving with Tigerair Australia and later Virgin Australia Regional under lease arrangements from GECAS and subsequently Avolon. After being withdrawn from use in February 2025 and stored, the aircraft was transferred to Global Aviation as N3986G in January 2026 and re-registered ZS-GAG on 19 February 2026. Configured in an all-economy 180-seat layout, the Toulouse-built jet strengthens Global Aviation’s narrowbody fleet as it re-enters active service from Johannesburg.

    Royal Air Maroc has taken delivery of a Boeing 737-8 MAX, now registered CN-RHN, further advancing the carrier’s narrowbody fleet modernization strategy.
