
On 18 February 2026, Cameroon’s Ministry of External Relations inaugurated new offices at Yaoundé-Nsimalen International Airport in partnership with the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority. The facilities are designed to enhance consular and protocol services, streamline the movement of official delegations, and strengthen Cameroon’s international image at a key entry point for foreign visitors. The inauguration was attended by the Minister of Transport, Jean Ernest Masséna Ngalle Bibehe, along with the CCAA and Aéroports du Cameroun leadership, highlighting interagency coordination for secure and efficient reception of diplomatic missions. The project is also framed as a modernization effort, demonstrating Cameroon’s capacity to provide dedicated infrastructure aligned with international administrative standards.
